Academics: Extended Centers

Thousands of students from all over Idaho take ISU courses without coming to Pocatello. While our main campus is in Southeast Idaho, we serve students with a wide variety of programs in many locations. Through a variety of traditional and technological strategies, ISU provides educational services to students in communities throughout the state.

Many students take courses in more than one location, perhaps completing general education requirements with ISU in the Snake River Valley or Magic Valley before completing a program on the main campus in Pocatello. Most off-site students are traditional, full-time undergraduate students, but many are mid-career professionals seeking new skills or other educational fulfillment by taking individual courses.

Idaho State University's Early College Program offers academic enrichment opportunities for qualified high school students. Dual or concurrent enrollment allows high school students to enroll in college level courses while continuing their high school courses and activities. Interested students should contact their school counselors. Visit the website linked above for more information.
