The College of Arts & Letters is the largest and most comprehensive college at Idaho State University. The scope of our work is broad, including the fine and performing arts, humanities, social and behavioral sciences.

The Arts & Letters disciplines form the core of the university and support ISU's general education program and extensive professional programs. In the College of Arts & Letters at ISU we are dedicated to the discovery and integration of knowledge, and our work reflects the diversity and creativity of the human experience.

Arts and Letters Mission

The College of Arts & Letters offers a variety of academic programs that develop skills in written and oral communication and critical thinking while exploring the diversity and scope of the human experience with both undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty in the College provide instruction and training of superior quality in the fine arts, humanities, social sciences, and behavioral sciences and produce innovative scholarship that advances knowledge. Through student and faculty collaborative endeavors, the College promotes opportunities for research and creative activities that investigate and enrich our shared cultural, economic, environmental, health, political, and social systems.

New Year's Eve Gala
Please join us for the New Year's Eve Gala on Dec. 31. This year's theme is Moulin Rouge, and it will be bigger and more extravagent than last year! Ticket prices are only $125 per person. Proceeds will go to student scholarships in the arts. You can buy tickets online by clicking below.
