A first of its kind program in Southeast Idaho, the ISU Experience CAMP (that's Communication, Art, Media, and Persuasion) is a 2-Day College Experience. While here, participants will tour and experience the ISU campus and attend workshops of your choice offered by faculty from the Department of Art and Department of Communication, Media, and Persuasion. If you choose to, you'll stay in the Rendezvous Complex, ISU's newest living facility which combines classroom, housing, dining, and social spaces*.

These workshops are designed to display the breadth of offerings here at ISU, as well as provide you with a chance to experience hands-on, college-level courses with professors from across campus. You'll have the opportunity to develop 3-D models (and possibly even have yours printed to take home), develop and print your own designs, express yourself through painting and drawing, produce a television program using Southeast Idaho's most advanced television studio, create your own unique handmade books with upcycled materials, and develop a website highlighting the experience. (For a complete list of workshops, click here)

Mission

Idaho State University’s CAMP provides hands-on college-level experiences for Idaho high school students through the collaborative efforts of the Departments of Art and Communication, Media, & Persuasion. We encourage Idaho youth to pursue higher education through affordable multi-day course offerings where students engage in real-world campus life in a fun and supportive environment.

*Due to a recent fire in Schubert Hall, housing for the 2018 CAMP is limited, and may be moved out of the Rendezvous into another dorm.
