Emergency Services

If you are experiencing an imminent mental health emergency please call ISU Public Safety (282-2515) or 911 for immediate assistance.

When students, faculty, or staff of Idaho State University have an urgent mental health concern for themselves or another person, they can contact our office at 282-2130 or come to our center located in Graveley Hall South Room 351 and ask to speak with a counselor.

Our staff is available for emergencies and consultations from 8:00am to 4:00pm each day during the regular school year. During the summer, we are available for emergencies and consultations from 7:30am to 3:00pm. After normal working hours, emergency response is initiated by contacting Campus Security (282-2515) or 911. Counseling staff also coordinate and assist with follow-up to such emergencies and conduct critical incident stress debriefings. Contact us for more information.
