Massage Therapy Program

The Massage Therapy program requires students to complete prerequisite courses prior to applying to the program. Applications for admission are accepted in the spring for a fall start.

After gaining basic massage skills, students begin refining their skills in a supervised massage clinic that is open to the public. Special populations such as the elderly, disabled, athletes, and prenatal clients are requested for student experiential opportunities.

The Associates of Applied Science Degree articulates to a Bachelor of Science, Health Science or a Bachelors of Applied Science degree.

ISU provides labs and equipment based on industry standards. We have highly experienced and certified instructors, Susan Beck MTD, NCTMB, is the program coordinator.
