Research Interests

Dr. Rasmussen's research interests are in the area of behavioral pharmacology and behavioral economics. She currently examines how the endocannabinoid, dopaminergic, and opioid neurotransmitter systems affect the value of food and exercise reinforcement in genetic and environmental rodent models of obesity. In addition, she conducts human research on behavioral economic factors related to food-related decision making.
