Home School & GED Applicants
Applicants educated through a home school or correspondence program of study are required to take the GED and are subject to GED admission requirements.
GED applicants at least 18 years of age but less than 21 are required to meet the admissions criteria outlined in Admission Requirements for Home School & GED Graduates.
GED applicants 21 years of ages and older are not required to take the ACT or SAT. After admission Math and English Compass tests are required for placment purposes.
GED applicants younger than 18 years of age must petition to be considered for admission. Also, petition for admission will be required of any prospective student that does not meet the prescribed admission requirements. Petitioned applications will be considered individually and admission is not guaranteed. Petitions may be obtained from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
