Originally named the Mini Dome the Holt Arena was built in the early 1970's entirely by voluntary student fee increases. It is the first covered football stadium to be built on any college campus. The building was renamed ASISU Holt Arena on September 17, 1988 in honor of former ISU coach and athletic director Milton "Dubby" W. Holt.
This 123,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art complex debuted in October 2004. It crowns a Pocatello hilltop that offers vistas as inspiring as the artists who perform here. The $34 million complex was built primarily with the generous support of hundreds of private donors.
