On behalf of all the members of the Idaho State University International Affairs Council (IAC), I would like to welcome you to the 2017 Frank Church Symposium.

Held every spring on the Idaho State University campus, the Frank Church Symposium is the only event of its kind in the region and one of very few in the U.S. We hold the symposium in honor of the late Idaho Senator Frank Church who chaired the U.S. Committee on Foreign Relations during the Vietnam War. His distinguished leadership and principles are reflected in our symposium.

The symposium is planned, organized, and run by students of ISU's International Affairs Council and sponsored by ASISU. We believe that understanding different viewpoints strengthens and enhances our university and community. We bring in delegates from around the country and the world to give presentations and engage in open discussion with us to acheive this goal.

The topic for the 46th Symposium is "Evolution of US Foreign Policy in the 21st Century" It will be held the 1nd and 2rd of March. If you are interested in being a delegate, we invite you to review our Call for Abstracts.

We also encourage you to attend the events; the symposium is free and open to the public. A detailed schedule of events and speakers will be posted as available. All events will be held in the Pond Student Union Building at Idaho State University, unless otherwise noted.

Warm Regards,
IAC President
