ISU Anderson Center’s LUNAFEST 2013 festival of short films set March 7 in Pocatello, March 13 in Idaho Falls
The Idaho State University Anderson Gender Resource Center will pleased to screen LUNAFEST 2013, a festival of nine short films by, for and about women, on March 7 in Pocatello and March 13 in Idaho Falls.

Celebrate Idaho State event March 19 expanded to include Idaho Science and Engineering Festival, Tech Expo
The third annual Celebrate Idaho State, a CommUniversity event, will feature more than 100 groups providing a variety of free food, entertainment, art, culture, information, and scientific displays and demonstrations from 4 to 7 p.m. March 19 at the ISU Pond Student Union.
This year's event incorporates the Idaho Science and Engineering Festival and the Idaho State University College of Technology's Tech Expo evening program. (more…)

The Idaho State University Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition "habitat : Home" by Catherine Reinhardt, will be held at the John B. Davis Gallery in the Fine Arts Building Feb. 12-22.

The Idaho State University Department of Art will host an opening reception for two exhibitions on Friday, Jan. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the ISU Fine Arts Building.
"We are excited to have a second opening of the Annual Faculty Art Exhibition for anyone who was unable to attend the opening last semester," said Amy Jo Popa, Davis Gallery Director. "In conjunction with the faculty art Exhibition we will be hosting an exhibition of a portfolio of prints titled 'PUSH/PULL' in the Compartment Gallery on the fourth floor of the Fine Arts Building, in Room 408."

Idaho State University School of Nursing, theatre department team up to produce realistic trainings
Artfully applied makeup, Joy detergent used to look like mucus, and special vomit made from corn, instant tea, oatmeal and parmesan cheese are among the finishing touches applied and given to volunteers and manikins to help provide realistic training scenarios for nursing students at Idaho State University.
And don't forget the acting by volunteers, who take their roles seriously as patients suffering from various illnesses.
The ISU Department of Theatre is collaborating with the ISU Department of Nursing to help add realism for training sessions held in the ISU School of Nursing’s simulation laboratory. (more…)
ISU Library exhibits ‘Ancient Mayan Mysteries’ paintings, photographs by Georgia Orwick, Anne Merkley
Georgia Orwick and Anne Merkley are joining to have their second show each of art inspired by the ruins of Mexico at the Eli. M. Oboler Library, 850 S. 9th Ave., Pocatello, from Nov. 5 through Jan. 31.

Idaho State University Department of Art visiting artist Mike Adams will make a presentation on his recent artwork and experiences in Olso, Norway, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Room 401 of the ISU Fine Arts Building
Adams is a recent ISU Department of Art Master of Fine Arts Degree graduate and Fulbright Grant recipient who travelled to Olso for his Fulbright. (more…)
