New student orientation isn’t all about the workshops any more. This year, the Idaho State University News Student Orientation office is combining traditional student orientation workshops with outdoor activities in hopes that students will establish a support network with fellow students and learn the skills necessary to make their first year of college a successful one. ISU old-school scientist Kritsky is world-renowned parasitologist
Administrative and teaching duties pay the bills, but it is the pinhead-sized and smaller parasitic worms inhabiting fish gills that are the true research love of Dr. Delane Kritsky, associate dean of the Kasiska College of Health Professions at Idaho State University.

Curator Akersten to be featured on National Geographic Channel sabertoothed cat program Aug. 19

Bengal Dancers earn awards at national camp
Idaho State University 2007-2008 Bengal Dancers recently returned from camp with the Universal Dance Association (UDA) hosted at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. There were more than 600 dancers from more than 20 different schools from across the United States. (more…)
