College of Technology nursing graduates earn high pass rates on national exam

Due to safety concerns part of diabetes study halted; SE Idaho participants notified
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health has stopped one treatment within a large, ongoing North American clinical trial of diabetes and cardiovascular disease 18 months early due to safety concerns after review of available data, although the study will continue.
Southeast Idaho residents who have been participating in this study have been contacted and informed of the new findings. (more…)
ISU Health Fair soliciting volunteers, learning centers
The Idaho State University Health Fair 2008 – celebrating its 27th year – is set from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday, March 20 and 21, and organizers are looking for volunteers and private and public health enterprises to set up learning centers. (more…)
Choirs from around the world to perform at ISU this summer
Choirs from Romania, Brazil, Algeria and the Philippines are among those that will perform at the 2008 Idaho International Choir Festival hosted by Idaho State University in Pocatello. This year’s festival will run from Wednesday, July 16th through Saturday, July 19th. Also participating will be choirs from Lithuania, Taiwan and the United States. (more…)

Executive-in-residence program features international trade expert

College of Arts and Sciences fall dean’s list announced
Dr. Maureen Brandon, interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Idaho State University has announced the dean’s list for fall 2007.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must complete at least 12 semester credits and receive a grade-point average of 3.66 or higher. (more…)
