Idaho State University College of Pharmacy sponsors 2010 Pharmacy Recruiting Fair

The Idaho State University College of Pharmacy and the Professional Pharmacy Student Alliance (PPSA) will host the 2010 Pharmacy Recruiting Fair Oct. 21 and 22 in the ISU Earl Pond Student Union Building Ballroom.

More than 80 health care recruiters representing about 50 companies from Idaho and across the United States typically attend the fair to interview students one-on-one for potential employment. (more…)

Idaho State University to receive $264,000 in grants for student scholarships from U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has awarded the Idaho State University College of Science and Engineering and the ISU College of Technology each grants for student scholarships totaling $264,150 for the 2010-11 academic year. (more…)

Awareness to Action Youth Suicide Prevention Project offers free training

Idaho State University’s Institute of Rural Health will offer training on how to advocate for suicide prevention in an Awareness to Action Academy for professionals, caregivers, community leaders, parents, survivors of suicide and all those who work to reduce Idaho’s high suicide rate.

This training will be held in Boise at Boise First Community Center, 3852 N. Eagle Road, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. (more…)
