National Girls and Women in Sports Day is scheduled from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Idaho State University Reed Gymnasium.

Idaho State University grad student Livingston to participate in Smithsonian Living Culture program in Alaska; edits book on Aleut master carver
Idaho State University graduate student Michael Livingston will lend his expertise in Alaska Native culture by helping create a carved, wooden hat at the 2012 Alaska Living Cultural Treasure Program from March 5 through 9 at the Anchorage Museum hosted by Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center. (more…)

Peter Farina has been hired as the new technical safety director at Idaho State University.
Farina will continue the tradition of excellent customer service that has become synonymous with the ISU Technical Safety Office. Using his varied experiences at different universities, he will expand on what is already a fine program at ISU to move it to the next level. (more…)
