Idaho State University Society of Physics to host Nordic Catapult Challenge on Dec. 1

Idaho State University Outdoor Adventure Center to begin renting yurts, cabins Nov. 16

The Idaho State University Outdoor Adventure Center will begin renting and taking reservations for the Portneuf Yurt System yurts and Camp Taylor cabins beginning at 9 a.m. Nov. 16.

This year the Portneuf Yurt System features two new elevated yurt floors at Skyline and Catamount yurts. The systems other yurts are Bonneville, Inman, and Jackson, all located in the Portneuf Range just outside of Pocatello. (more…)

Georgia Orwick and Anne Merkley are joining to have their second show each of art inspired by the ruins of Mexico at the Eli. M. Oboler Library, 850 S. 9th Ave., Pocatello, from Nov. 5 through Jan. 31.

A reception will be held on Nov. 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the art gallery of the Oboler Library. (more…)

Idaho State University visiting artist Mike Adams will talk Nov. 13-14 at ISU; has exhibit in Idaho Falls

Idaho State University Department of Art visiting artist Mike Adams will make a presentation on his recent artwork and experiences in Olso, Norway, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Room 401 of the ISU Fine Arts Building

Adams is a recent ISU Department of Art Master of Fine Arts Degree graduate and Fulbright Grant recipient who travelled to Olso for his Fulbright. (more…)
