Idaho State University Press has announced the publication of “A Year and a Day” by Michael Corrigan.
Judy Tatelbaum, author of “The Courage to Grieve” and “You Don’t Have to Suffer,” said, “Michael Corrigan’s is a poignant, honest and exquisitely written journal of the year following the death of his wife, Karen. It is unique to read this kind of intimate sharing of a man’s grief. Because it is unique, I believe it will make a great difference to others who are in mourning.”
Corrigan is an assistant lecturer in the ISU’s Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies. He has authored two plays, numerous articles and five books, including “Confessions of a Shanty Irishman” and “The Irish Connection and Other Stories.”
“A Year and a Day” is available at the ISU Bookstore in the Pond Student Union Building or by mail from ISU Press, 921 South Eighth Ave., Stop 8265, Pocatello, ID 83209. Cost is $17.95 per copy.
