“Urinetown, The Musical” is scheduled to debut at Idaho State University Friday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 pm in the James E. and Beverly Rogers Black Box Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.
This musical comedy is a three-time Tony award winner that pokes fun at petty small town politics, capitalism and social irresponsibility.
Its plot revolves around the evil Urine Good Company, run by Caldwell B. Cladwel who outlaws private toilets and puts Urinetown citizens on a pay-per-use amenities system.
“It’s so funny you’ll have to go twice, once before the show and once at intermission,” said Erin Joy, ISU Box Office manager.
Seating is limited and tickets are available now at the Stephens Performing Arts Center Box Office, or by phone at 282-3595, or online at www.isu.edu/tickets.
Ticket prices are $ 14 for adults; $12 for seniors and ISU faculty and staff; $8 for children ages 6 to 12; and $5 for ISU students with a valid Bengal card.
