Country singer Jason Aldean with special guest Luke Bryan will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, in the Idaho State University Holt Arena as part of Aldean's WIDE OPEN 2010 Tour.
After a quick, 14-week ascent to the top, Aldean’s GOLD-certified single "Big Green Tractor" spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. He is the only artist to hold the No. 1 position for four straight weeks in more than 18 months.
"Big Green Tractor" is his third No. 1 single, preceded by "She’s Country" earlier in 2009 and "Why" in 2006.
Aldean made history as the first country artist to ever take the No. 1 spot on the Billboard all-genre Ringscan chart. "Big Green Tractor" edged out a top five that included superstars Jay Z, Drake, Mariah Carey and The Black Eyed Peas.
Aldean’s first-ever live DVD, "WIDE OPEN LIVE & MORE," was released August 25. "Big Green Tractor" is off his third studio album "WIDE OPEN," released in April of this year. This earned him the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Country Albums Chart and the No. 4 position on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 chart. This marks the best opening week of Aldean's career to date and a nearly 10 percent increase in first-week sales since his last release in 2007.
He is currently selling out arenas with his headlining WIDE OPEN tour. Visit www.jasonaldean.com for more information on this artist and tour.
