“In spite of the program’s name, National Geographic has taken a serious look at the evidence and the possibility that there exists a rare and unrecognized primate species inhabiting the forests of North America,” said Meldrum, author of “Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science.” “That evidence is examined from the ground up, beginning with the footprints, which are the focus of my interest in this intriguing question.”
ISU anthropology professor Herbert Maschner will also be featured on the program providing counterpoints to Meldrum. The ISU Idaho Virtualization Laboratory will also be featured. The program that is scheduled to air at 6 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
