ISU School of Nursing appoints Bare student advisor

Carol Ashton, director of the Idaho State University School of Nursing, has announced the appointment of Shauna Bare to the position of student advisor for the School of Nursing.

Bare was appointed to the position in November, and brings an extensive advising, recruiting and retention background. She earned a Master of Education Degree in human resource, training and development from the ISU College of Education in 1998. She started her ISU career in the ISU Office of Enrollment Planning in 1995 as an admissions representative.

In 1997, as a graduate assistant for the dean of the College of Education she was charged with creating Student Advisement Center, and was also instrumental in developing and coordinating the admissions interviews for all incoming teacher education students. In addition, she taught business education courses, first year seminar and participated in numerous campus-wide admission and retention committees.
