Oregon recently added placement and finishing of restorations to the dental hygiene scope of practice and Johnson is the lead faculty for the restorative program at Pacific University.

“Lisa has incredible energy and passion for dental hygiene as well as interprofessional education,” said Linda Boyd, ISU professor of dental hygiene and director of the ISU MSDH program. “We pleased she has been honored with this scholarship.”

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and The Procter & Gamble Company present the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers. This scholarship supports dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate’s degree and who have an interest in an academic career.

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is the voice of dental education. Its members include all U.S. and Canadian dental schools and many allied and postdoctoral dental education programs, corporations, faculty and students.
