Idaho State University Disability Services will host the second annual Experience College Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 in the Salmon River Suite in the Pond Student Union.
Students will receive training, be fed lunch, and participate in a tour of campus. They will be able to ask questions about anything from attending college to receiving accommodations. Attendance will help minimize struggles while better insuring long-term success.
Representatives from southeast Idaho school districts, the Idaho Department of Labor and the Idaho Department of Education will also be present for this event, sponsored by the Bannock Civitans. About 100 students are expected to attend this event.
