The Idaho State University Office of Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity and Diversity will host a Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration on Jan. 16 on the ISU campus.
A march will begin at 1:30 p.m. from the northeast corner of the Holt Arena parking lot. The march will proceed to the Pond Student Union where a program will commence at 2 p.m. in the Bengal Theater.
ISU Transportation Services will provide bus service for those wishing to participate but unable to march. The bus service will also provide transportation back to Holt Arena following the program for individuals who participated in the march.
The program will include a keynote address and recognition of students and student organizations. The community will also participate in presenting an award to a member of the community who has advanced both human and civil rights.
