Idaho State University Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibit ‘Old Voices, New Ears’ runs Feb. 6-17 at Davis Gallery

Nathan Barnes's Idaho State University Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition "Old Voices, New Ears" will open Monday, Feb. 6, in the John B. Davis Gallery of the ISU Fine Arts Building.

Barnes's work will be on display through Friday, Feb. 17. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Barnes, who currently resides near Idaho Falls and was born in Salt Lake City, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from the University of Utah. For the past three years he has curated exhibits for the Idaho Falls Arts Council. Most of his work is oil paint on canvas panel; however he sometimes uses real objects in his pieces and forays into sculpture as well.
