Idaho State University Student Success Center to present ‘March Toward Student Success: Peer into Your Future’ beginning March 1

The Idaho State University Student Success Center will offer a series of presentations during the month of March to promote peer involvement on campus beginning March 1.
These interactive presentations will include panels of students currently serving as peers and information on how to apply for academic peer leadership opportunities. Please contact Central Academic Advising with any questions at 282-3277 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
"The full Peer Into Your Future" schedule is below:
• March 1, "Peer Advising" in the Pond Student Union Heritage Room, from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m.: Peer advising is an opportunity to make a significance difference at ISU. Peer advisors work alongside the professional advisors in the Central Academic Advising to assist ISU freshmen and undecided sophomore students in understanding academic requirements and accessing university resources.
• March 8, "First Year Seminar Peer Instruction" in the Pond Student Union Heritage Room, from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m.: This introduces ISU to a new set of freshmen, explains life as a student who works closely with faculty and staff co-instructors, and helps encourage the next group of Bengals to be outstanding students and future ISU leaders.
•March 15, "Be a Student Mentor" in the Rendezvous Complex Suites B & C, from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m.: Meet students who are currently making a difference among their peers while reaping the benefits of building social and professional networks.
• March 22, "Be a Tutor, Get a Tutor" in the Rendezvous Complex Suites B & C, from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m.: Current ISU tutors and tutees will discuss how tutoring and being tutored can deepen knowledge, build resumes and increase leadership skills. Learn about tutoring opportunities in English, math and all other academic disciplines.
