Brief Biography:
I am interested in global health and how substance use, including smoking, influences HIV and tuberculosis. My research has highlighted the plight of homeless, addicted, immigrant, and sex worker populations.

Brief Biography: In the past six years, she has designed and taught more than a
dozen health promotion related courses. As an active researcher, she
co-investigated 14 research projects, and coordinated on 3 research
projects and a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant application
during the past 5 years. As a health educator, she coordinated a
variety of health promotion events on campus and in the community.

I am a native to Southeast Idaho, born and raised here in Pocatello. I'm recently married to my husband, Scott. When he and I have time away from work we love being in the outdoors with our two Labs, Diesel and Ruger. I will be starting my Master's of Health Education program next year and look forward to continuing my education at Idaho State University.

Hobbies: Riding 4-wheelers and snowmobiles, camping, crafts, interior design, cooking
