This World of Ours

Held every spring on the campus of Idaho State, this symposium is the only one of its kind in the region and one of very few in the entire USA! Here we honor Idaho Senator Frank Church, who chaired the US Committee on Foreign Relations during the Vietnam War. His distinguished leadership and principles are reflected in our symposium.

The symposium is sponsored and run by students of ISU's International Affairs Council. The IAC believes that understanding different viewpoints strengthens and enhances our community. We proudly share experts from around the country who will fulfill this goal through presentations and open discussions.

Topics of this symposium include: human rights, religion, nuclear power, 2008 Olympics, economic growth, women's issues, the environment, and more!

We encourage you to attend some or all of the panels and please bring a friend. The cost is free to the public! All events will be held in the Salmon River Suite of the Pond Student Union Building at Idaho State University, unless otherwise noted.

I will continue to do my part, as you keep on striving to do yours.  –Frank Church
