Customer Service, Technical Troubleshooting, Technical Writing, and Teamwork building are just some of the valuable skills you will learn as an IT Technical Support employee.

What you will learn: As an Idaho State University Customer Service and Support student employee you will learn to use and work with the latest versions of popular operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux and Macintosh. Gain valuable knowledge and experience using, and troubleshooting, popular software products such as: Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Google Apps, Statistical software, Graphic's packages, and mail packages.

Work and learn in ISU Computing facilities. Interact professionally and socially with fellow students, faculty and staff. Learn how to provide technical support to clients in person, by e- mail and over the telephone. Develop your interpersonal skills by interacting and helping others across the entire ISU campus.

IT Customer Service and Support offers frequent student job opportunities in Telephone support, Administrative support, Hardware and Software support plus computer lab support and Operations support .

IT Customer Service and Support requires submission of a new application and work availability after each preregistration period, (generally April and November).
