Continuing Education Units (CEUs) / C.E. Credit Information
Counselors – CE credits for LCPs and LCPCs (6 contact hours) are provided by the ISU Department of Counseling through NBCC for the Psychosocial Track's ACT Workshop.
Psychologists – The Idaho Psychological Association (IPA) will provide CE credits for psychologists for the Psychosocial Track's ACT Workshop. IPA is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor CE credits for psychologists.
Social Workers – This program has also been approved for six hours at BSW level, six hours at MSW level and six hours at the MSW-Clinical level by the National Association of Social Workers-Idaho Chapter, and may be applied toward the continuing education requirements for social work license renewal.
Thomas Geriatric Health Symposium
C.E. credit will be available for the Geriatric Health Symposium. The symposium’s four sessions have been reviewed and approved for up to 4.75 prescribed credits (CMEs) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Symposium has been approved for up to 4.75 nursing CEUs. Idaho State University is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Idaho Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approved provider number INA08-010. The Symposium will also serve nursing home administrators and residential care facility administrators as well as occupational and physical therapists towards their licensing requirements; a certificate of completion will be provided. Please plan to attend all sessions and sign attendance sheets to receive C.E. credit.
Oral Health Track
The Oral Health Track will also provide C.E. completion certificates.
Idaho Board of Pharmacy approved Continuing Education credit will be available to licensed pharmacists and is included in the registration fee. The Pharmacy Track has been approved for up to 6 nursing CEUs. Idaho State University is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Idaho Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approved provider number INA08-010.
