New Graduate Courses

New courses usually have a minimal impact on the collection. However, at the graduate level, some resources are needed, particularly given the negative opinions of the collection expressed by graduate students and faculty. Most courses would require a modest infusion of one-time funds to purchase and process retrospective printed material. Suggested amounts would be $200-$500 for humanities or social science courses, $200-$300 for science or engineering courses, $500-$700 for health related courses. Depending on the commitments already present in the departmental budget, additional ongoing money ($200-$500) may be needed to maintain the collection.
