DeWayne Derryberry received his B.S. in Mathematics (1988) and his M.S. (1990) in Quantitative Methods from Arizona State University. He received his Ph. D (1998) in Statistics from Oregon State University. After graduation he taught statistics and operations management for two years with Oregon State University College of Business, he then taught statistics and mathematics for six years at the University of Puget Sound. He has just completed his first year at Idaho State University. He has taught Introductory Statistics, in one form or another, about 40 times. He has taught a number of advanced statistics classes, both theoretical and applied. He read for the AP Statistics examination four times (2003-2006), and plans to do so again when his summer workload lightens.

Deb Schleusener received a B.S. in education from the University of Minnesota in 1983, and another in mathematics from South Dakota School of Mines in 1986. She spent some time teaching junior high and high school before going back for her master's degree in statistics, completing the degree at Kansas State University in 1993. She then began working as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry, eventually ending up in New Jersey. She moved to Pocatello in 2004 and continues to work as a statistician with various pharmaceutical companies via telecommuting. The flexibility of telecommuting allowed her to teach a few sections of introductory statistics at Idaho State University beginning in 2006.

Luther Yost received his B.S. in Mathematics (1981) from Frostburg State University and his M.A. in Statistics (1987) from University of Maryland College Park. For one year he worked as a statistical analyst at Mathematica Policy Research in Washington, D.C. Since then he has been teaching Introductory Statistics and various introductory mathematics courses, first at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland, and for the last 11 years at Idaho State University. Starting in Fall 2005, he has also been the Coordinator for the Math 108 Intermediate Algebra course at ISU.
