Labor Market Simulations Software for Very Large Classes

    This paper describes software and discussion topics for a Labor Market Simulation (LMS) designed for large lecture classes. Students play the game from remote computers, using a web browser, at any time during a period specified by the instructor. An instructor can use the software to teach lessons about the role of unemployment compensation in forming the unemployment rate and wage inequality.
