Assistant Professor

The Psychology Department at Idaho State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Clinical Psychology program at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2016. The position requires a PhD from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program. Clinical and research expertise is open, but preference will be given to applicants focusing on children/adolescents and/or health-related issues (eating disorders, weight management, substance abuse), or other areas complementary to existing faculty. Candidates should also be license eligible in Idaho. All applicants should have evidence of strong research scholarship and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship of students. The successful candidate will establish an independent research program, teach undergraduate (in-seat and online) and graduate courses, and supervise graduate student research. Idaho State University offers an APA-accredited PhD in Clinical Psychology (scientist-practitioner model), a PhD in Experimental Psychology, and BS in Psychology.
